Potstickers
- 12–16 potstickers (frozen or homemade)
Vegetables
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
Sauce & Aromatics
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1–2 green onions, sliced
- Optional: pinch of chili flakes
- Optional: splash of water (for steaming potstickers)
- Prepare Your Ingredients: Chop the vegetables into bite-sized pieces and mince the garlic and ginger to ensure even cooking and maximum flavor release.
- Cook the Potstickers: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange the potstickers in a single layer and cook until bottoms are golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Add a splash of water, cover, and steam for an additional 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
- Stir Fry the Vegetables: Remove potstickers and set aside. In the same skillet, add another splash of oil, then add garlic, ginger, and vegetables. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Combine and Sauce Up: Return potstickers to the skillet. Pour in soy sauce and drizzle sesame oil over everything. Toss gently to coat and heat through for 2 minutes so flavors meld.
- Garnish and Serve: Top with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of chili flakes if desired. Serve immediately to enjoy the best texture and flavor.
Notes
- Use a non-stick skillet or seasoned wok to prevent sticking and crisp up potstickers.
- Cook potstickers in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding and achieve golden crust.
- Prep all ingredients ahead of time for smoother cooking.
- Taste sauce before serving; adjust soy sauce, sesame oil, or add a pinch of sugar to balance flavors.
- Try fresh herbs like cilantro or Thai basil for added fragrance.
