Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, letting it activate for about 5 minutes until frothy. Add the flour, salt, and softened butter, then mix and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  2. Prepare the garlic butter: While the dough rises, mix softened butter with minced garlic and finely chopped parsley to create the aromatic garlic butter for brushing.
  3. Shape the rolls and add cheese: Punch down the risen dough and divide into equal portions. Flatten each piece, place a generous amount of mozzarella in the center, then wrap the dough around the cheese to seal completely forming neat rolls.
  4. Apply garlic butter and second rise: Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking tray, brush tops generously with garlic butter, cover, and allow to rise another 30 minutes for fluffier rolls.
  5. Bake to golden perfection: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes or until tops are golden brown and cheese inside is bubbly.
