Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • Cream cheese (softened) – 8 oz (1 package)
  • Instant vanilla or cheesecake-flavored pudding mix – 3.4 oz (1 package)
  • Milk (cold) – 2 cups
  • Whipped topping – 1 cup (e.g., whipped cream or Cool Whip)
  • Graham cracker crumbs – 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon

Optional Toppings

  • Fresh berries or fruit – ½ to 1 cup (raspberries, strawberries, etc.)
  • Mini chocolate chips (for chocolate variation) – ¼ cup
  • Chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts) – ¼ cup

Instructions

  1. Soften the Cream Cheese: Let the cream cheese come to room temperature to make blending smoother and easier.
  2. Mix Pudding and Milk: In a bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes.
  3. Combine Cream Cheese with Pudding: Add softened cream cheese and vanilla extract to the pudding mixture, then blend using a hand mixer or whisk until creamy and uniform.
  4. Fold in the Whipped Topping: Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese pudding blend to lighten the texture and add fluffiness.
  5. Assemble the Cups: Layer graham cracker crumbs into the bottom of serving cups, spoon the cheesecake pudding mixture on top, then add another layer of crumbs or fresh fruit if desired.
  6. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the assembled cups for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld and texture to set. Serve chilled for best taste.

Notes

  • Use full-fat cream cheese for richest flavor and smoothest texture.
  • Chill pudding mix and milk before mixing to help pudding set faster.
  • Fold whipped topping gently to maintain fluffiness.
  • Prepare a few hours ahead to enhance flavors.
  • Add crunchy toppings just before serving to keep them crisp.
